Responsibilities:
- Lead the research, deployment, and operational management of new blockchain networks, ensuring efficient launch processes and ongoing optimization of chain performance and reliability.
- Tackle complex Web3 issues, including conducting post-mortems, providing technical direction during customer calls, and leading remediation efforts during incidents.
- Utilize advanced analytical and dashboard skills (e.g., Grafana, DataDog) to monitor system performance and health.
- Define, enforce, and ensure the organization meets SLA/SLO objectives, contributing to the overall reliability of platform services.
- Innovate to solve complex challenges quickly and efficiently, minimizing technical debt and implementing preventive measures.
- Work closely with the Support L1 team and cross-functional teams to maintain system efficiency.
Requirements:
- At least 5 years of experience in Technical Operations, SRE, or a similar role, with a deep understanding of Linux/Unix systems.
- Proficiency in handling complex Web3 issues, including troubleshooting JSON-RPC responses and analyzing validator logs.
- Experience with blockchain foundations and network performance improvement.
- Proficiency in automation and configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform, Consul), and programming languages such as Python, Go, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Skilled in system optimization, benchmarking, cost analysis, and system-level tuning.
- Expertise in using tools like Grafana or DataDog for detailed system analysis and monitoring.
- Proven ability in defining and adhering to SLA/SLO objectives and managing incidents using tools like PagerDuty.
- Proactive problem-solving skills and a commitment to reducing risks and technical debt.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
Bonus:
- Knowledge of database systems such as ScyllaDB, Redis, and Postgres.
- Experience with WAF optimization and alerting, particularly with CloudFlare.
- Familiarity with modern web hosting technologies, including lambda functions and caching strategies.
