Technical Product Owner – Customer Experiences – CDH – Remote Full Time

Responsibilities

• Partner closely with the Principal Technical Product Manager to engage with stakeholders and understand business and feature requirements.
• Work alongside product delivery teams to drive the delivery of products and services, managing scope, delivery dates, and ensuring user and steward acceptance.
• Understand both business and technical engineering/IT needs to ensure quality digital products and operational workflows.
• Perform cost, benefit, and risk analysis associated with proposed products/services and recommend alternatives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and users to synthesize, articulate, and document business and system requirements.
• Perform data analysis, define and document business requirements, and translate them into technical/engineering specifications, acceptance criteria, and user experience requirements.
• Assist product and operations leaders in coordinating deployment of deliverables.
• Provide input for product documents, project charters, plans, work assignments, and deliverable target dates.
• Apply systems engineering methodologies throughout the product and project lifecycle.
• Research, analyze, and validate business and systems requirements.
• Establish scope boundaries for basic and routine products and technical requirements.
• Plan and monitor work scope estimates and schedules.
• Assess and define problems through root cause analysis and propose solutions.
• Read, assess, and interpret vended solution architecture and translate it into scope of work and technical specification requirements for integration.
• Help define product implementation change management requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree and 3+ years of relevant technical experience, or HS diploma/GED and 7+ years of relevant technical experience.
• Highly preferred: healthcare and EPIC API expertise.
• Certification in Scrum Product Owner within 1 year.
• Preferred: experience/knowledge of healthcare IT systems (e.g., Epic) & interoperability standards (e.g. FHIR).
• Ability to perform data mapping exercises for patient application/UI experiences from the FHIR data model.
