Summary:
- Vita Industrial (a division of Vita Inclinata) develops leading technology solutions for the construction/industrial industry that allow companies involved on sites to operate safer, faster, and smarter.
- Vita Industrial is looking for an experienced and energetic sales candidate to join the growing Vita Industrial Sales team as a Territory Manager.
- The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing the entire sales process from early prospecting to deal closure, and maintaining relationships to secure expansion business in the assigned territory.
Responsibilities:
- Understand our customers, industry, and how they relate to our products.
- Travel throughout an assigned territory to secure business with new and existing customers.
- Participate in networking events, attend trade shows, and develop long-term relationships with contacts.
- Generate your own leads for new opportunities and follow-up on inbound leads.
- Take ownership of the sales process, including introduction presentations, product demos, proposal generation, follow-up presentations, negotiations, and closing deals.
- Build relationships with key decision-makers and close deals to acquire new customers.
- Maintain solid working relationships with customers by ensuring that their needs are met.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor landscape, and new product developments.
- Ensure brand awareness within the assigned territory meets company expectations.
- Track sales goals and report results as appropriate in CRM system.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Travel percentage: 50-75% depending on candidate location.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BS/BA) from college or university and 5 years of Sales experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Prior experience working within or selling to large contractors in the construction industry, understanding project lifecycles, key stakeholders, and common challenges.
- Proven track record of successful sales performance, including lead generation, qualification, negotiation, and closing deals.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with clients at various levels within an organization.
- Prior experience in an Outside Sales or Field Sales role preferred.
- HubSpot or SalesForce CRM experience is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Exceptional networking and customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment.
- Entrepreneurial spirit.
- Excellent organizational skills with a high degree of collaboration at all levels.
- Proficiency in Microsoft products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
