The Test Automation Engineer role is within the Workflows Team, focusing on developing and maintaining automated tests for web applications.

Write and run tests across various testing methodologies to improve application stability and performance.
Work with the team and Product to ensure the backend for the frontend is stable, performant, and breaking changes are caught early.
Collaborate with Product to ensure core user workflows are tested and new features can be deployed confidently.
Work with other engineering teams to ensure system contracts are reliable.
Improve deployment cadence, reduce error regressions, and assist in bug triage.

3+ years of experience with Typescript, JavaScript (Jest, Playwright or similar testing frameworks).
2+ years of experience with CI/CD & automated testing.
An understanding of the advantages and drawbacks of different testing strategies.
Experience building web apps and/or developer tools is a plus.
