Summary:
- Abbott’s Heart Failure business is recruiting for a Therapy Development Manager to join the UK team.
- The role is field-based, covering the UK, with the ideal candidate located in Central/South UK.
- This role focuses on Abbott’s CardioMEMS Heart Failure System, a leading remote monitoring platform for HFpEF and HFrEF patients.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and optimize activities in implanting centers and referral sites, presenting Abbott as an ideal long-term partner.
- Develop inpatient and outpatient heart failure referral programs.
- Manage commercial sales responsibilities, including negotiations with procurement departments, pricing, order processing, and coordination.
- Lead market development activities, events, and clinical support.
- Achieve regional sales and strategy targets.
- Identify and generate sales opportunities through inbound and outbound activities.
- Assess the heart failure business and market development opportunities to drive sales.
- Provide field support for specific marketing and sales initiatives.
- Anticipate 75% travel in this role.
Requirements:
- Experience in a clinical setting providing acute or outpatient care to cardiovascular patients.
- Experience in Heart Failure is an asset.
- Proven commercial acumen and sales region/territory management.
- Marketing and communication experience is advantageous.
- Strong negotiation, entrepreneurial, and out-of-the-box thinking skills.
- Advanced product and industry knowledge.
- Superior communication, interpersonal, teamwork, and customer service skills.
- Strong presentation skills.
