Responsibilities:
- Track active campaigns from major threat actors targeting public, private, and government entities.
- Develop automation in Python to collect and manage threat intelligence data.
- Analyze advanced persistent threats, ransomware, and major cybercrime TTPs.
- Publish threat research reports and present findings in security research forums.
- Provide integration support for SecurityScorecard products and customers.
- Hunt for emerging threats across internal and external sources.
- Establish standards for threat modeling and integration.
- Perform analysis during high-severity cyber-attacks impacting customers globally.
Requirements:
- 2-5 years of experience in security research, hunting threat actors, and analyzing sophisticated campaigns.
- Proficient in Python or other high-level programming languages for automation.
- Experience with threat intelligence platforms (e.g., MISP) and analysis tools (e.g., Splunk, VirusTotal).
- Knowledge of vulnerabilities, malware analysis, and exploit development.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
