Responsibilities
- Oversee all legal matters, including commercial contracts, privacy, and compliance.
- Manage and update subscription agreements, NDAs, and contractor/consultant agreements.
- Review employment agreements, variable compensation plans, and separation agreements.
- Advise on ethical data practices and privacy compliance.
- Lead equity management and oversee legal setup in international markets, including Canada and India.
- Provide legal opinions on confidentiality and data handling practices.
Requirements
- 6+ years of legal experience, including corporate, employment, and commercial law.
- Proven track record of managing complex contracts and compliance issues.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Experience with legal setup and compliance in international markets, particularly Canada and India.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Admission to a state bar in good standing; multi-jurisdictional experience preferred.
