- Hello Heart is looking for a Vice President of Sales for the South East region, responsible for building and maintaining strategic relationships with top benefits executives within employer-sponsored health plans.
- The role will focus on securing new business through direct contracts and channel sales while working with key strategic partners and benefits consultants.
- This position requires a consultative approach to working with clients and trusted partners, with the ability to adapt to Hello Heart’s growing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Lead strategic efforts to build and close new business across Large Accounts (3,000-15,000 employees) in the assigned territory of South East, including Texas.
- Consistently meet or exceed objectives/quota (annual $3M+).
- Deliver compelling presentations to prospective clients, consultants, partners, and others to emphasize the importance of heart health.
- Stay informed on the company’s products and client usage, as well as understanding the company’s roadmap and competitive differentiation.
- Bring new ideas and observations to the commercial team and promote resourcefulness.
- Develop and maintain intra-company relationships consistent with company values.
- Understand client business strategy, challenges, and opportunities to drive meaningful conversations.
- Facilitate smooth transition from Sales to the Customer Success team and assist with upsell opportunities as they arise.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in field sales in the employer’s benefits or wellness space.
- Established network of professional contacts to build new pipelines quickly.
- Successful sales history with consistent 100% quota attainment for the past 3+ years closing deals valued at $1M+.
- Experience in selling direct, via channel partners, and consultants.
- Fluency in relationship-building, particularly with key decision-makers and influencers.
- Ability to adapt style according to different settings and personalities.
- Excellent poise and presentation skills, strong writing skills.
- Driven, with a “go-getter” attitude and a solution that saves lives.
- Tenacious follow-up skills and the ability to think outside the box to connect with key decision-makers.
- Willingness to travel extensively as needed.
