Video Director Full Time

Responsibilities

• Brainstorm, develop, and pitch creative concepts to clients
• Write and edit scripts to tell compelling client stories
• Participate in pre-production activities like location scouting
• Lead on-set direction for client video productions
• Work with on-camera and voice talent to achieve performances
• Create a warm and collaborative on-set experience for all
• Build and grow relationships with crewmembers and clients
• Collaborate with editors to guide post-production efforts
• Approach projects with empathy toward the audience and client
• Maintain strong knowledge of storytelling and filmmaking practices
• Provide support and assistance to all film team members
• Establish new workflow processes for quality and efficiency
• Provide constructive feedback to improve production quality

Requirements

• Must be located in or near Denver
• Proven work history in a film/video director role
• Demonstrated storytelling ability
• Deep expertise in film techniques, styles, and tools
• Aptitude for creative concepting and pitching ideas to clients
• Passion for filmmaking and keeping up with industry trends
• Editing skills are a plus
