Video Editor Full Time

Summary:

F10 Studio, a Toronto-based photography and videography brand, is hiring a full-time Video Editor to join their team. The ideal candidate will transform raw footage into high-quality, emotionally-driven wedding films, reels, and documentaries. The role requires strong proficiency in video editing tools like Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with a focus on storytelling, pacing, and visual consistency.

Responsibilities:

• Edit cinematic wedding highlight films, teasers, Instagram reels, and full-day wedding documentaries using Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro.

• Edit branded content, testimonials, and behind-the-scenes footage as needed for social or marketing use.

• Add sound design, light audio mixing, titles, and transitions in line with F10 Studio’s polished aesthetic.

• Craft edits that tell a story, flow naturally, and evoke emotion—pacing the video around key moments like vows, speeches, and reactions.

• Use music creatively to elevate emotion and energy without overpowering the visuals.

• Match our brand’s color grading and audio style guidelines.

• Ensure final exports are clean, consistent, and delivered in the correct formats for multiple platforms.

• Organize footage using our internal file naming and folder structures.

• Sync multicam footage and audio using professional tools and manual adjustments as needed.

• Meet internal delivery timelines and manage feedback revisions quickly and professionally.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of experience editing videos professionally (wedding industry experience is a big plus).

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve.

• Strong grasp of storytelling, pacing, music syncing, and sound design.

• High attention to detail and ability to maintain brand consistency across edits.

• Excellent time management and ability to meet deadlines without sacrificing quality.

• Strong communication and responsiveness—especially in remote work environments.
