Responsibilities
- Provide operational support leadership with patients and providers as priority
- Manage customer service concerns, troubleshoot, perform service recovery
- Ensure productive and efficient schedules for the practice
- Serve as personnel manager for the Medical Assistant team, ensure training
- Prioritize achieving KPIs and build workflows to achieve them
- Manage office tasks including mail, expenses, and supplies
- Ensure data integrity for billing, patient enrollments, accounts payable/receivable
- Analyze practice challenges and suggest strategies to address them
- Implement and monitor new workflows and processes
- Lead with financial responsibility; ensure insurance eligibility and optimize schedule
- Participate in growth-related activities and promote the practice
- Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and standards
- Cover and perform team duties within scope of practice; provide customer service
Requirements
- Associate degree required; Bachelor’s or Master’s preferred; healthcare-related specialization
- Credentials as a Medical Assistant, LPN, or RN required
- Ability to work from home with a private area and reliable internet connection required
- Bilingual in English/Spanish or Russian preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of management experience, preferably in healthcare
- Experience in startup or early market entry environment preferred
- Knowledge of electronic medical records
- Ability to multitask under pressure; prioritize tasks
- Eager to solve problems and develop sustainable solutions
- Growth mindset and ability to participate in troubleshooting
- Ability to lead with optimism and pragmatism
