PROFILE

Flexible, autonomous graduate with a bachelor’s degree in computer science, and a diploma in IT and Software Engineering.
I chose to complete a bachelor’s degree in computer science since I’ve always found the front-end and its creative appearance to
be fascinating. This is among the factors that led me to transition from information technology to software engineering.

I’m interested in software engineering because I like solving problems with tangible solutions and I believe the skills from
my education would allow me to apply the skills in practical. From my education, I have experience with different programming
languages and also have experience in both front- end and back-end development. I bring to the table my experience as a
full-stack developer converting figma mockups into a functional, responsive application using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, KnexJs,
MySQL, and React.

Since software engineers must be very organized, collaborative, and communicative with others, I believe having prior IT and
customer service expertise would be beneficial.

Software Engineer | Royal Caribbean Industry Project

JAN 2024, HACKATHON

●       Contributed in a cross-functional team’s industry project with Royal Caribbean International as the industry partner within 24 hours.

●       Translated figma mockups from designs by UX team members to a responsive and user-friendly website using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React.

Software Engineer (Lead coder) | Always Healthy Eating

JAN 2024, CAPSTONE PROJECT

●       Accomplished a basic react blogging recipe app using tech stack – React, MySQL, ReactJS, KnexJS, Express, and Client and Server libraries.

●       Utilized react router for navigation to the webpages.

●       Implemented user authentication, allowing users to register, login, and create a new blog post to add a recipe.

●       Deployed the front-end on Netlify.

Software Engineer (Lead coder) | BrainFlix

JAN 2024, COURSE PROJECT

●       Implemented a responsive website from the provided mockup.

●       Retrieved data using Axios from the given mockup API and displayed it in the application.

●       Utilized the react router’s useEffect and useParams hooks to determine when to update the main-video data.

●       Modified the client application to utilize its own API service and implemented a custom API service to manage the video data.
