About Me

My name is Siddhartha Pershad. I am a Senior Manager and have 18 years of experience in the IT Enabled Services industry in the BFSI vertical having domain expertise in Insurance (Life, Auto Insurance and Property Casualty Insurance) as well as in Banking/Brokerage, Capital Markets Domain. I also have experience in the Debt Collection domain.

Have led teams and have experience in both Operations and Transitions and been in both team handling and individual contributor roles.

I am a Six Sigma Green Belt Certified professional as well as Lean certified. I have been involved in driving process improvements within my team and for the clients.

Have done and implemented quality projects in processes using both DMAIC and Lean methodology. Have also driven lean improvement ideas within my teams which led to productivity benefit and client satisfaction.

Have been involved in End to End Value stream mapping within my processes and I have identified improvement opportunities. I have driven and implemented process controls after identifying potential risks so that risks are mitigated.

I also have domain certifications in Insurance and Capital Markets such as:

·         Certified in Dun & Bradstreet workshop on Capital Markets

As a Senior Operations Manager, I have been involved in handling teams, owning end to end delivery, ensuring SLA’s are met and proper governance and controls are adhered to. Have been involved in conducting appraisals, providing feedback, career counselling, reward and recognition of employees and work allocation.

As an operation lead, I have regularly coordinated with support functions such as hiring, training, compliance, transitions and quality to take care of staffing needs, training and development of resources, ensuring all policies adhere to both from organization and client perspective, transitioning and stabilizing the process and contributing to process excellence.

I also have experience in end to end project management, managing client relationships, change management, project governance, documentation, leading project review calls, providing solutions to RFP’s for prospective new business etc.
