Responsibilities:
- Supervise staff handling commercial claims.
- Monitor staffing needs, mentor and develop staff.
- Investigate and settle commercial claims.
- Review/prepare reports for clients.
- Attend mediations and settlement conferences.
- Work with counsel to settle litigated claims.
- Communicate with staff, management, and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college.
- Ability to analyze legal and technical documents.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to present information to top management.
- Ability to apply common sense to instructions.
