Cybersecurity Specialist at CDC Foundation in United States Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Perform security activities including vulnerability testing.
• Automate infrastructure security testing and penetration testing.
• Identify and correct security related issues.
• Detect and analyze potential cybersecurity threats.
• Monitor security events and respond to incidents.
• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and testing.
• Collaborate with teams to design security architectures.
• Develop and maintain cybersecurity policies and procedures.
• Provide cybersecurity awareness training to staff.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory requirements.
• Evaluate third-party vendors’ security posture.
• Prepare reports on security incidents and trends.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or cybersecurity.
• 5+ years of cybersecurity experience.
• Knowledge of network security, encryption, and IAM.
• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, NIST, and ISO 27001.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.
• Experience working in a virtual environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
