Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with sales reps and physician’s office.
- Verify eligibility and benefits with insurance companies.
- Track and complete pre-authorization requests.
- Review delivery tickets for accuracy and completion.
- Perform data entry into medical billing software.
- Regularly communicate with patients and vendors.
- Escalate issues with insurance carriers.
- Answer incoming phone calls and route messages.
- Follow up with patients for satisfaction.
- Create and edit PDF files using Adobe Acrobat Pro.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 2+ years of experience with insurance verifications.
- Experience using payor portals.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced analytical and organizational skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word and Outlook.
- Experience with HCPCS and ICD-10 codes preferred.
