Responsibilities:
- Review client and vendor contracts for privacy.
- Stay updated on global privacy and AI laws.
- Conduct privacy impact assessments and ROPAs.
- Advise on client consent set-ups and user experience.
- Lead privacy incident response and investigations.
- Develop and implement privacy policies and guidelines.
- Support employee training on privacy best practices.
- Advise on data subject access requests and inquiries.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on privacy issues.
- Assist with assessments, audits, and risk management.
Requirements:
- Active bar membership in good standing.
- 5+ years as a Privacy Attorney in relevant settings.
- Knowledge of global privacy laws and applications.
- Familiarity with AI and data protection laws.
- Success in stakeholder communication and negotiations.
- Experience with privacy technology and GRC platforms.
- Ability to articulate legal positions clearly.
