Senior Database Reliability Engineer at Inspectorio in Philippines Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Manage databases in a cloud environment.
• Work independently with developers for DBA support.
• Design, implement, maintain, and optimize databases.
• Troubleshoot and monitor database performance.
• Automate database deployment and management tasks.
• Implement and maintain database security policies.
• Participate in on-call rotation for critical issues.
• Work on automating implementation activities.
• Implement robust monitoring and alerting mechanisms.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on experience in DBA.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Proficient in SQL and programming languages.
• Knowledge of cloud security for database applications.
• Good knowledge of database design and optimization.
• Familiarity with cloud environments like GCP and AWS.
• Nice to have experience with ELK, Clickhouse, and Kafka.
• Strong technical communication skills in English.
• Any certification on Cloud Administration is a plus.
