Responsibilities:

• Contribute to software systems for low-income Americans.
• Drive change through data analysis and investigations.

• Work with product teams in government benefits, marketing, and growth.
• Communicate effectively with team members and during reviews.
• Contribute to building data science culture and processes.
• Collaborate on project selection and building solutions.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of startup experience.
• Fluency in SQL and Python or R.
• Experience leading research on product and system opportunities.
• Strong at converting questions into data insights.
• Quantitative mindset with skills in probability and inference.
• Experience in startup environments or ability to work in ambiguity.
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Eagerness to learn new techniques and prioritize tasks.
• Passion for improving users’ lives.
