- Be the voice of the customer for product ideas.
- Travel as necessary to develop relationships.
- Generate qualified leads with channel partners.
- Prepare activity and forecast reports.
- Assist in conveying customer needs to product managers.
- Utilize a consultative approach for proposals.
- Develop an account plan based on customer needs.
- Build relationships with current accounts and prospects.
- Recommend marketing strategies.
Requirements:
- Desire to see customers benefit from investments.
- Proven success with B2B software sales.
- Experience selling to US government agencies.
- Appropriate clearances for national security programs.
- Interest in GitLab and open source software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
- Preferred experience with Git and development tools.
- Ability to use GitLab effectively.
- Ability to travel if needed.
