Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Successfully manage the overall relationship with health plan client management team and stakeholders.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for each health plan including activation components.
- Increase health plan client revenue and profitability through better utilization of products.
- Ensure company and client objectives, expectations, and goals are met.
- Handle client discussions, escalations, and issue resolution with judgment.
- Diagnose and fix root cause drivers of service and delivery problems.
- Develop and manage strategic plans to show clients the value of products and services.
- Identify potential service issues and resolve them proactively.
- Lead and mentor account managers to resolve issues and develop solutions.
- Onboard new clients to set them up for continued success.
- Conduct professional and productive in-person meetings with clients.
- Willingness to travel up to 35% to clients, EDH headquarters, and industry events.
Requirements
- Extensive experience with health plans and employer customers.
- 12+ years of experience in strategic account management in relevant industries.
- Direct experience handling portfolios of multiple Fortune 500 or health plan accounts.
- Ability to engage with all organizational levels, including C-suite.
- Process-driven with strong analytical skills and insights.
- Strong leadership and influence management skills.
- Ability to thrive in a matrixed organizational structure.
- Motivated team player with a positive collaborative attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, start-up-like environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- High energy level with a willingness to contribute to corporate culture.
