Director, Engineering Full Time

Responsibilities:

• Lead engineering for data integrations automations.
• Build products that integrate enterprise data.
• Manage the health of the code base through refactoring.
• Advocate for agile, DevOps, and TDD culture.
• Coach and lead in software best practices.
• Help evaluate, prototype, and introduce new tech.
• Build secure and high-performing applications.
• Communicate with executives, customers, and teams.
• Attract and develop great engineering talent.
• Influence the technical culture and morale.

Requirements:

• 11+ years system architecture experience.
• 4+ years microservice or SOA web apps.
• 3+ years managing software organizations.
• Experience with AWS tools like EC2, CloudWatch.
• Experience with NoSQL and relational DBs.
• Experience with autoscaling distributed systems.
• Proficiency in at least 3 languages or paradigms.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.
• Strong object-oriented design and problem-solving skills.
• Familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
