Cloud Operations Engineer Full Time

Summary:

CyberSheath Services International LLC is a rapidly growing Managed Services Provider focused on delivering cybersecurity services to the Defense Industrial Base. They are seeking a Cloud Operations Engineer to assist with client onboarding, project tasks, and technology initiatives related to Office 365, Azure, and other cloud-hosted systems.

Responsibilities:

• Provision and deliver computer systems and services, both on-premise and cloud-hosted solutions.
• Regularly perform migrations to Office 365 (email, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams), server migrations to Azure, and implement various Azure technologies.
• Design and deliver secure cloud solutions in Office 365 and Azure.
• Perform architecture, design, system evaluation, analysis, and infrastructure assessments.
• Deploy and maintain tools and monitoring agents, such as endpoint protection, vulnerability management, log collection, multifactor authentication, and RMM.
• Track all activities, case notes, and time entries within the Service Desk Ticketing system.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure tasks and timelines are on track and within budget.
• Provide timely updates and feedback regarding project status.
• Drive technical implementation tasks to completion by budgeted deadlines.
• Proactively communicate with clients to ensure proper addressing of requests.
• Troubleshoot onboarding implementation issues as they arise.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 7+ years of experience in System Administration, including Microsoft Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Azure Administration, Server Management (Active Directory – Group Policy), Deployment, and Migrations.
• Proven experience performing successful Office 365 email migrations and cloud, P2V, V2V server migrations.
• Experience with Intune enrollment and policies.
• Intermediate networking experience (TCP/IP, routing, SSH, VPN).
• Knowledge of automation tools and scripting.
• Knowledge of security tools (e.g., EDR, SIEM, MFA, DLP, AIP).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting complex systems.
• Exceptional interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills to balance and prioritize workloads.
• Ability to lead technical discussions with clients and CyberSheath personnel.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
• U.S. Citizen residing within the United States or its Territories.
