Summary:
The Sales Representative – Industrial Laundry | Gauteng role at Salesworx Recruitment (Pty) Ltd, a staffing firm partnering with a top industrial laundry equipment distributor, drives sales in Gauteng, Mpumalanga, and Limpopo. Based remotely in Pretoria, South Africa, Salesworx focuses on sourcing outstanding talent across South Africa and EMEA.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and drive all equipment sales within the assigned area.
- Respond to website inquiries and provide quotations for potential new business.
- Proactively prospect and develop new business opportunities.
- Identify customer needs and recommend the correct equipment solutions.
- Conduct pre-installation and post-installation site inspections.
- Prepare and present customized laundry layouts.
- Regularly visit key clients and potential new customers to build relationships and drive sales.
- Provide weekly activity updates and monthly quote reports to the Sales Manager.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records using Salesforce (CRM).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in the equipment, industrial, or construction sectors.
- A strong track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
- Previous experience in B2B sales and relationship management.
- Basic understanding of the products being sold, which may include heavy machinery, equipment, and related tools.
- Familiarity with the technical aspects of the equipment, such as plumbing, electrical, or mechanical knowledge, is often beneficial.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to present products effectively and interact with clients.
- A minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent, with preference for candidates who have a relevant tertiary qualification in sales, marketing, or a technical field.
Benefits:
- Basic Salary: R20,000 per month.
