Job duties/responsibilities
- Drive the technical direction and architecture of Cribl Lake
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on product roadmaps
- Mentor and guide junior engineers
- Identify and mitigate technical risks and debt
- Contribute to best practices and engineering standards
- Optimize and extend capabilities of Cribl Lake
Requirements
- Proven track record of writing clean, maintainable code (Node.js/TypeScript)
- Experience in large-scale highly available distributed systems and SaaS platforms
- Expertise in developing resilient backend services on cloud providers, preferably AWS
- Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, Linux, and distributed systems
- Experience with assertion frameworks and tools like Mocha, Cypress, Jest
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Dedication to elegant and high-quality software
- Experience mentoring and guiding junior engineers
