Responsibilities:

• Serve as lead or supporting writer for proposals.
• Ensure quality narrative following proposal-writing standards.
• Lead or contribute to strategic positioning and design.
• Support project design with conceptual frameworks.
• Optimize competitiveness and project outcomes.
• Develop processes, tools, and templates for proposal writing.
• Provide strategic advisory on organizational positioning.
• Lead special projects with cross-departmental teams.
• Address gaps to improve Jhpiego’s competitiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in public health or international development.
• 5 to 7 years’ experience in public health project design.
• Proven record of writing successful proposals.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams.
• Strong writing, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of USAID and large foundation procedures.
• Ability to synthesize and articulate program insights.
