Summary:

Responsibilities:

• Own risk controls from end-to-end and scale processes to provide coverage as the business expands.
• Work with Product, Growth, Data Science, and Engineering to develop custom risk management strategies for different geographies.
• Use data to assess risk and make decisions impacting large customer segments, measuring tradeoffs with quantitative analysis.
• Identify, investigate, and mitigate fraudulent deposit activity.
• Implement logic targeting bad actors and high-risk behavior tied to unauthorized deposits across regions.
• Review and respond to alerts regarding anomalous customer and transaction behavior.
• Measure fraud performance across payment methods.
• Proactively identify and close gaps in monitoring.
• Own reporting processes and communication with banking partners, senior leadership, and regulators.
• Synthesize data learnings into compelling stories for Payments Risk leadership.

Requirements:

• 4+ years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years fighting push payment fraud in an e-commerce or financial services environment (e.g., SG Fast/PayNow).
• 2+ years of experience in data analysis, working with databases, and querying (e.g., SQL, MySQL).
• Experience using identity provider data to mitigate fraud (e.g., SingPass).
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience driving implementation of new fraud mitigation tools on time and per specifications.
• Strong knowledge of push payment processes and fraud claim investigations.
• Passion for fighting fraud, with curiosity to self-drive investigations and find root causes.
• Ability to independently create plans for analytics projects and build team collaboration.
• Experience dealing with multiple stakeholders, including senior leadership and regulators.
• Clear communication, positive energy, continuous learning, and efficient execution.
