Research Administrator III Full Time NEW

Responsibilities:

• Oversee grant management for assigned divisions.
• Provide guidance on agency form completion.
• Ensure timely proposal submission by agency deadlines.
• Review contract and grant proposals for accuracy.
• Monitor budget and award releases for grants.
• Facilitate post-award transactions and budget transfers.
• Enter salary distributions for faculty and staff.
• Prepare financial reports and budget projections.
• Maintain auditable accounting records.
• Assist in budget development for grants.
• Keep up-to-date with university fiscal policies.
• Review and prepare grant transfers for new faculty.
• Work on grant record design and post-award training.
• Maintain financial files for prompt retrieval.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree and three years of relevant experience.
• Experience in proposal preparation and review.
• Ability to analyze and prepare various budgets.
• Working knowledge of accounting and cost analysis.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel.
• Experience with data management in Excel and Access.
• Familiarity with PeopleSoft procedures.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to train faculty/staff.
• Capability to work with diverse faculty and staff.

Benefits:

• Salary range: $69,000 – $85,000 annually.
